Window Walls
Unlike curtain walls, which are installed to a building’s exterior and placed edge to edge, window walls are installed on the interior and span from the floor to the ceiling. This makes installation easier, safer, and cost-effective.
Our window walls give architects and building owners more design flexibility, especially for high-rise living. In the past, the only option for high-rise buildings were curtain walls. Now architects and owners can provide tenants with functional, operable floor-to-ceiling windows in projected casement and sliding styles — often in conjunction with terrace doors — to blur the line between indoor and outdoor living space.
Specification:
- 100&150mm frame depth
- 50mm face dimensions on mullions and transoms
- Reduced head and sill sight lines to maximise the glass appearance
- Tested to Australian standards AS2047, and glazed in accordance with AS1288
- Accepts 24mm to 28mm IGU
- Optional frame details for site glazing
